You will need

U.S. Work AuthorizationHS Diploma/GEDBackground Check

Must be between 16 and 35 years of age

Willingness to work outdoors, performing manual labor with tools in all weather conditions. While a background check is required, we encourage young people with justice system involvement to apply to our program. Talk with our recruiting staff for details

About this program

Here is our web page with details about the Conservation Corps program: https://americanyouthworks.org/programs/cc/ Participants who are selected for this program will complete on-the-job environmental conservation training with our environmental project partners, and will also complete professional development trainings. This program is a 40 hour per week time commitment, and depending on the specific crew a participant joins, may also require overnight travel. Crew members can choose a service program that lasts from 3 to 11 months, with different start and end dates throughout the year.
