You will need

U.S. Work AuthorizationDriver's License

Must be between 17 and 21 years of age

GPA of 2.5 or above. Must be a licensed driver with a minimum of one year of driving experience by the end of EMT school. Applicant must be graduating high school in 2023 OR be a high school graduate of the 2022 or 2021 class.

About this program

Acadian offers a variety of options for those interested in a career in emergency medical care. It's never too late to begin a new career, and the National EMS Academy makes it easy to get started. Applicants should be expected to work part-time as full-time college students or full-time if not enrolled in college for a minimum of 2 years for Acadian. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age by the end of EMT school. This training program lasts for 3 months.
