Must be at least 18 years of age

A valid ID (e.g., passport or Texas ID) may substitute for a Driver's License. An HS Diploma or GED is required; GED support is available. To be accepted, applicants must pass the TABE Test, offered at Wesley Community Center every 1st and 3rd Tuesday.

About this program

Individuals receive academic, financial, and employability skills before beginning Patient Care Technician coursework at either HCC, Lone Star College, or San Jacinto College. They also receive additional training and support to pass the PCT license exam. The program includes 2 months of readiness training followed by 6 months of coursework and exam preparation.
